The international forum “Sexual Exploitation: Violation of Human Rights” co-sponsored by Comision Unidos Contra Trata and CAP international took place at the Chamber of Congress in Mexico, with over 300 participants at the plenaries, workshops and a youth forum.
This provided a unique opportunity for frontline service providers, decision makers, youth, trafficking and prostitution survivors, academics and other activists to gather and discuss trafficking and prostitution from the perspective of ending demand. Different legislative frameworks on trafficking and prostitution were presented and best practices exchanged on the national, regional and international strategies on trafficking and prostitution.
