CAP International organised its second public side event, Prostitution and sexual exploitation: violation of human rights of women and girls, on prostitution and sexual exploitation at the Commission on the Status of Women 59.
The French and Swedish governments co-sponsored the event, which emphasied that prostitution is a violation of human rights. Speakers included the French Minister for Women’s rights, Representative of Swedish Government, members of CAP and Members of Parliaments from UK, France and Sweden.
