KAFA (enough) Violence & Exploitation is a feminist, secular, Lebanese, non-profit, non-governmental civil society organisation looking for a society that is free of social, economic and legal patriarchal structures that discriminate women. KAFA has been aiming to eliminate all forms of exploitation and violence against women since its establishment in 2005. It fights for substantive gender equality. KAFA has developed a permanent and dedicated programme on prostitution and trafficking in human beings and released the first research project on male sex buyers in Lebanon. KAFA provides assistance to domestic and foreign victims of prostitution, including among the vast population of refugees.
