12 November 2014, Paris
CAP international hosted its first International Abolitionist Congress at the French Parliament in Paris. More than 200 delegates from 24 countries attended. Decision makers, survivors of prostitution, representatives of indigenous and discriminated-against communities, NGOs and trade unions denounced the exploitation of some of the most vulnerable groups in society through prostitution. Seven Members of Parliament from five countries launched a Call of Parliamentarians for the Abolition of Prostitution.
