CAP International participated in the launch of the Brussels’s Call at an event on 1 October 2013 organised by the European Women’s Lobby. The Brussels Call, signed by over 200 NGOs across Europe, calls on the EU member states to adopt abolitionist policies which would guarantee the suppression of repressive measures against prostituted persons, the criminalisation of all forms of procuring the development of real alternatives and exit programmes for those in prostitution, and more. To learn more, read the Brussels Call: together for a Europe free from prostitution or follow its activities on Twitter (@BrusselsCall).
